Explain “Are rational numbers integers?”

No, rational numbers are not necessarily integers. While integers are a subset of rational numbers, rational numbers include both integers and fractions. Integers are whole numbers, including positive and negative numbers, as well as zero. Rational numbers, on the other hand, encompass all numbers that can be expressed as a fraction, which includes integers but also extends to fractions with a numerator and denominator. Decimal numbers can also be rational numbers if they terminate or repeat.
