what is physics and why are we studying it?

Physics is the branch of science which mainly deals with the study of nature and it’s phenomenon. With the physics we try to decode the basic design and functioning of the nature. After study natural phenomenon, we establish some laws and rules that is helpful in defining the cause. 
We are studying it because Physics is very helpful in inventing new machine and technology. Which is useful in giving shape to our world.
