The formula for Coulomb’s law is:
$$F = \frac{k (q_1 q_2)}{ r^2}$$
where: F is the magnitude of the electrostatic force between the two charges, k is the electrostatic constant (also known as Coulomb’s constant), which has a value of approximately 8.99 x 10^9 N·m²/C², q1, and q2 are the magnitudes of the charges of the two particles, r is the distance between the centers of the charges.
